Meet the Photographer

           Hi, I am Jessi Casey, a glamour and boudoir photographer. I received my BS in Photography and Business Minor at Northern Arizona University in May 2025. I am now purely located in Modesto, CA, but I am always ready to travel for photoshoots. I have been interested in photography since I was around 8 years old, when I purchased my first small camera, and I always knew this would be my passion. I have entered multiple photography contests at my local county fair and have won first, second, or third place on every photo I have submitted. 

          My interest in photography goes back to about 2012, when I bought myself my first little camera when I was around 8 years old. I remember it was a pink Vivitar digital camera, and I started taking pictures of anything and everything because I found it so much fun. Over the years, my parents noticed I was getting increasingly interested in photography, and they decided to get me a nicer camera, a Canon PowerShot SX410 IS. When I tell you I took this camera everywhere, I mean anywhere I went, I always had the camera with me. In 8th grade, for our final essay in English, we had to write about what we wanted to do after high school. I very confidently wrote about going to college for a degree in photography and becoming a photographer with my own business. I am happy to say that this dream came true.

          Christmas of 2018 was when I received the camera I continue to use, the Canon EOS Rebel T6. After receiving this, I would not leave my friends and family alone. I would take as many pictures of them as they would let me. I slowly realized that I enjoy taking portraits more than landscapes, as I originally started. Now, I notice I am focusing more on glamour and boudoir photography, as this is what is most enjoyable for me. I love being able to see the confidence of my subjects grow during our photoshoot(s).

          I like making art and taking photographs because I love seeing the joy on people’s faces when they see my work. I want to capture people in a way they have never seen before and help them love themselves. I love capturing the true personality of my subjects because they can see themselves in a way that others see them. Most of the time, people tend to view themselves in a very harsh way, and I want my images to show my subjects that they are beautiful inside and out. My main goal with my photography is to show the beauty of my subjects and help them gain more confidence in themselves, whether through my glamour shoots, my more seductive boudoir shoots, or even a simple headshot.
